Stand Up Paddleboarding is great fun and perfect if you like trying new activities. Why not give it a try and see the coastline from a new point of view.
Using various gorgeous bays in the area, we usually have direct access to the sea and on a calm days they are stunning to learn in.
We provide you with a suitable paddleboard for your needs, adjustable paddle and optional buoyancy aid.
You’ll be up and running in no time
and if not, it’s great fun trying.

I’m Jason, I run Paddleboard Torbay.
I’m an accredited ASI ‘Stand Up Paddle’ Instructor who loves getting out on the sea.
Lessons
A Lesson in Stand Up Paddleboarding will teach you the basics, such as: how to get on the board, how to stand up, stability, basic control and using your paddle. You’ll be up and running in no time and if not, it’s great fun trying!
Water safety is, of course, very important to us all so as part of the session you will learn a self rescue technique.
My lessons are ideal for one on one, couples, families and groups*.
(*please note that you will not be allowed to participate if you have been drinking).
Recommended Age 12yrs+ (If you are booking as a family/group then please contact us if your children are younger)

Stunning Locations
Torbay has some stunning locations, beaches and coves. Most of which are great for paddleboarding.
One of my favourites is Meadfoot beach, which also has a fantastic café (run by Mandy, Alison & Liz),
which serves everything from a full English breakfast to ice creams. Check it out!
There’s also a great Dive shop if you fancied taking a look at the wonders from under the ocean. Learning to paddleboard does need the right sea conditions, however, there are a few sheltered locations in the local area so just give me a call and I’ll check the conditions and then let you know where to meet.
